The US caters to road travelers in many ways, including a massive amount and variety of gas/petrol stations. So finding somewhere to fill up is not a big problem for most drivers.

However, finding a station that can accommodate a 50ft articulated vehicle can be a challenge if one needs petrol and not diesel.

Also, other drivers in these congested spaces can be oblivious idiots, and we have had a few close shaves with people pulling out in front of us, and cutting us off as if we were not there.

Of course, high gasoline, (and even higher diesel prices (100% caused directly by ‘He who shall not be named’)) are not helpful. That said, I can be certain that I will not be buying any Russian diesel (thus helping Iran’s war effort against us), nor consuming any Argentinian beef.
