Arizona – Lake Havasu City

We left the canyon late morning Sunday 12/17 and got to our hotel at Lake Havasu later in the afternoon. After we settled into our room, we took a stroll to see London Bridge.

In 1968, an American tycoon bought London Bridge—all 10,000 tons of it—and moved it brick-by-brick to the desert town of Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

“IF THE FOOD, DRINK & SERVICE ARE NOT UP TO YOUR STANDARDS… PLEASE LOWER YOUR STANDARDS”

There was no need to lower our standards, our supper at The Chair was brilliant. Afterwards, we walked around the village, then walked back to our hotel.
